Thaisarco standard product tolerances and principles

The following shall apply unless agreed separately via contract:

• Tin ingots & Cast Bar: Shall have an individual weight tolerance of +/-10% of the nominal or +/- 0.1Kg whichever is the greater. Pack weights being +/- 5% of the nominal weight.
• Extruded Bar: Shall have an individual weight tolerance of +/-10% of the nominal. Pack weights being +/- 5% of the nominal weight. The dimensional tolerance is +/-5% of the specified dimensions.
• Full/Half Ball: The dimensional tolerance is +/- 1mm and pack weights are +/- 5% of nominal weight.
• Billet: Shall have an individual weight tolerance of +/-10% of the nominal. Pack weights being +/- 5% of the nominal weight. The dimensional tolerance is +/-1cm of the specified dimensions.
• Granules: Pack weights being +/- 5% of the nominal weight.
• Extruded wire: Pack weights being +/- 5% of the nominal weight. The dimensional tolerance is +/-5% of the specified dimensions.

Note: for all the above, and for any further advised weights / dimensions, standard international rounding rules shall be applied.
